My passion for the ways in which we communicate, and fail to communicate, have led me through careers as an interpreter, a writer, and a Master Sergeant for the United States Air Force. Now I’m a working writer as well as a student of Professional Writing and Rhetoric. My professional experience in non-fiction focuses on Russia and Eastern Europe. My semi-professional experiences have given me a breadth of knowledge on topics from world travel to world history and from the exotic world of sumo wrestling to the exotic world of tabletop roleplaying games.
